According to the latest RAJAR figures, commercial radio's popularity has reached new heights “across the pond.”  In the results for the second quarter of 2023, there was an impressive 8% increase in its audience compared to the same period last year, resulting in a record-breaking 39.2 million listeners. Additionally, commercial radio's share of listening has surged to an all-time high, rising from 49% to an impressive 54.5%.  “Commercial radio is giving audiences exactly what they want to hear,” a move that is clearly paying off.
